X-Philes:  do you remember how much crap you'd get if you posted your fic on the newsgroup using "smart quotes"?  Do you remember the threat of being lynched when posting  story with poor grammar and spelling? 

Internet fandoms suck now.  There's no self-policing anymore and far too much nicey-nice.

I get to watch the Bears live next week instead of just listening to it on the radio.

I just wonder why I didn't know this before.

Now, all I have to do is justify canceling lessons next week so I can get home to watch it.  I don't want to miss any Devin Hester kick returns!

I guess it's as good a day as any to write a post.

Ate too much. Company already gone. Worked on this meal for a good week, including cleaning and shopping and cooking and it was all over by 4:30. Made a damn fine bird, though, I will say. Thanks to Giada De Laurentis for the citrus fruit stuffed into the cavity idea. That combined with an awesome brine gave me a tasty, juicy bird.

Now I'm playing. I'm sitting at the puter, watching episodes of The Office online, and not feeling a lick of guilt for just sitting and doing nothing. I'll pretty much be here tomorrow doing the same.

There's only two episodes for now, but they're totally great for a free online game.  Beautiful artwork.

I'm also feeling like I should be writing my Tosh/Owen story but I can't get myself to open the notebook.   Maybe tomorrow.  My head's kinda fuzzy.
